Teddy's Hit

Teddy’s Hit is an energetic Dutch indie/new wave/post-punk 3-piece from Amsterdam. From catchy sing-along parts to stretched out krautrock-influenced episodes; the band takes their audiences on an overwhelming ride during their live shows.

The underground gem that is Teddy’s Hit has been rippling the waters of the Dutch indie scene over the past years, having released one EP (Teddy’s Hit, 2019) and their first full- length album (Painters, 2021). On their sophomore full-length album ‘Scratch’, set for release in October 2023 on Dutch indie label Excelsior Recordings, the band has developed their immersive sound even further. Drawing inspiration from British post-punk bands from the 80’s such as Gang of Four and The Clash, and even dub artist such as Lee-Scratch Perry, Teddy’s Hit present a fresh danceable record that’s full of surprises.
